               In late spring, huge sea  turtles crawl

               onto a beach in florida . each turtles digs 

               a nest in the sand . the mother turtle

               then lays about 100 eggs .two months

               later, tiny turtles hatch .

              

              The Young turtles crawl out 

              of their holes and 

              into the ocean 

  LONG TRIP

               The tiny turtles set out 

               on a long trip . they swim

              across the atlantic ocean 

              and back again . the trip 

              takes between five and ten

              years . the trip is  thousands 

              of miles long .

              scientists wanted to know 

              how the turtles made their 

              way across the ocean .

              to find out scientists put 

              ''bathing suits'' on some 

               Young sea turtles . the 

              suits were tied to special 

             machines . the machines 

             can follow how the turtles
